ONE OF THE FIRST SOLAR COMPANIES ON THE EAST COAST
Our original company, Absolutely Energized Solar Electric, Inc. was one of the first companies to install a utility connected solar electric system in NJ. Dan Lichtman, company founder and owner, was the second person on the east coast to pass the gold-standard , North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (www.NABCEP.org) Photovoltaic Installation Professional Exam (PVIP). He was also one of only a handful of out-of-state business owners to be granted special licensing to install solar electric systems in the state of Connecticut (#ELC.0194759-PV1).
In those first few years, we focused solely on developing the best practices and strategies as we started the NJ solar electric business. Slowly, commercial solar electric systems began being installed in NJ and we were out in front working with businesses all over the state to install high quality, cost-saving solar electric systems. As our reputation grew, we decided to focus solely on commercial customers and we also expanded into the Connecticut and New York markets. Today we can brag about the diversity of our installations and the loyalty of our customer base. Thanks to the yearly maintenance that we provide, we now have commercial solar electric systems running profitably for 12 years or more. Several of our customers have even had us install second, third, fourth, and in one case, fifth large commercial solar arrays.
